Usually, it’s because the heating elements just can’t handle the stress or the heat isn’t spreading the way it should. We built our KRONES-compatible infrared heaters to break that cycle. They’re designed to slide right in and actually stay lit. The heat struggle Here’s the thing about high-wattage tubes: they’re great for getting your packaging line up to speed quickly. But that intensity comes with a price. All that heat puts a massive amount of pressure on the quartz envelope. If your cooling fans aren’t perfectly tuned, the ends of the tubes get too hot and just give up. We’ve spent a lot of time balancing the voltage and wattage so the heat hits your product, not the housing. It keeps the equipment cooler and the run times longer. Built to take a beating We didn’t use standard, off-the-shelf bulbs here. Those just aren’t tough enough. Instead, we use reinforced quartz glass that doesn’t bow or crack when things get intense. Inside, we’ve positioned the tungsten filament to get the most out of the short-wave radiation. We also beefed up the seals at the connector points. Why? Because a little bit of moisture leaking in is all it takes to cause a short and kill your production. These lamps can handle the rapid heating and cooling of a grueling shift without snapping. Getting them running Installation is the easy part. These are a direct fit, so you won’t be messing around with your wiring or fighting with brackets. We paid extra attention to the contact points to make sure they don’t arc when they’re under a heavy load. You’ll notice fewer unplanned stops and a lot less stress on your team.
