Why it actually works Standard heating is slow because it has to warm the air first. IR is different. It’s a direct hit. You load the oven, the lamps kick in, and you’re back at your target temp before you’ve even closed the door. Getting the hardware right Most of the lamps we provide are simple drop-in replacements. We use quartz glass because it can handle the stress of flipping on and off all day without cracking. Depending on your oven size, you’ll just need to pick the right length and wattage. One quick tip:**check your connectors.**Most of these use R7s or Sk15 bases, so swapping them is fast. But please, check your wiring. If you’re stepping up to a high-wattage tube, make sure your wires can handle the load. Cheap wiring will fry, and that’s a headache nobody wants. A few things to keep in mind Now, these aren’t a magic fix for everything. IR is aggressive and directional.
