What’s Under the Hood
The whole system runs on a high-output infrared lamp. The wattage and voltage are tuned for one thing: fast heat. When we say explosion-proof, we mean it in the most physical way possible. The quartz tube is reinforced to handle internal pressure if something goes wrong—so the lamp won’t rupture and set off flammable gases nearby. The R7s connector locks the lamp into the circuit securely, and it’s rated for high temps, so it won’t loosen up as things heat up and cool down. The waterproof housing keeps rain out and water jets out. No shorting. No surprises. Inside the tube, a halogen-filled atmosphere stabilizes the filament.
