It slows everything down. That’s why we use circular infrared heating tubes. Instead of relying on hot air or old-school coils, these tubes blast short-wave radiation straight onto the snack. We call it a “second-level response.” In plain English? The heat is on—or off—the moment you flip the switch. No waiting around. Speeding up the beat When you need to push more product through, you can’t afford to let your oven idle while it warms up. Our tubes pack a lot of wattage into a tiny space. This creates a punch of heat that hits the surface of your snacks instantly. Because the ramp-up time is basically gone, your total cycle time drops. You end up shipping more units per hour without having to buy a bigger, bulkier machine. The nuts and bolts We make these out of high-purity quartz glass so the IR light can actually get out. Inside, there’s a tungsten filament filled with halogen gas. Why the gas? It keeps the element from burning out when you’re pushing it hard. It lets us crank up the heat while making sure the tube actually lasts. Plus, we use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. They just slide right in. You can swap them into your current setup without messing around with custom adapters or weird wiring. The honest truth Look, this isn’t a magic wand. Because these tubes dump so much energy into one spot, you can scorch your product if the conveyor belt is moving too slowly. You’ll need to tweak your timing sensors to make sure the heat matches the speed. Also, quartz is fragile. If your machine shakes or vibrates a lot, those tubes can snap. We always suggest using vibration-dampening mounts. A little bit of padding goes a long way in keeping your line running.
